The Hand Shovel is obtained through crafting and is not lootable unless a player has dropped it.
They are used to make a stash which appears as a small dome of dirt, but can be placed to only show a very small amount of dirt or even none at all!
Right click the Hand Shovel in the menu to start the placement of your super secret stash!
Make sure to type /loc to note down the co-ordinates of your stash!
