Overview[ | ]
The M9 is one of several handguns that is quite commonly found in the game. It can be found in virtually any location and ammunition for the weapon is common.
Usually found in gas stations or urban environments, the M9 has a high magazine size and does reasonable damage at all ranges with a rather high fire rate.
Due to its ammunition being so common, you'll usually end up with a high bullet count without ever finding the pistol.
While it does not pack the same punch as the .44 Magnum, it makes up for it by virtue of having a high fire rate and a high magazine capacity. This makes the M9 ideal for urban areas such as Pleasant Valley or Cranberry, where volume of fire is preferred instead of high damage precision.
